How to Measure Your Head

Grab a Cloth Measuring Tape
A soft, flexible tape measure (like a tailor’s measuring tape) is best. If you don’t have one handy, you can use a string or ribbon, then measure it against a ruler.
Find the Right Position
Place the tape about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above your eyebrows and ears. This should be the widest part of your head, where a hat would naturally sit.
Keep the Tape Level
Make sure the measuring tape stays level all the way around your head. It’s easy for it to slip up or down, which can affect your measurement.
Note Your Measurement
Once you’ve got the tape snug (but not tight!), take note of the exact circumference. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
